In saying “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and give to God what belongs to God” Jesus teaches that all things, even politics, ought to be informed by strong and clear religious principles. Due to sin, there are many injustices that need attention in our nation; triage is needed. Fr. Mark encourages us to think with the mind of Christ and the Church when forming our conscience for the upcoming election.
