In the gospel today, MT 12:14-21, we see Jesus intentionally walking away from an argument that was brewing. Fr Mark asks us to be like Jesus towards people in our life, be it at work, at home with our family, friends and our kids wherein we see that the end goal of discourse is to aim for a healthy conversation and not arguments; conversations that lead towards the conversion of hearts.

Fr. Mark, I hope all is going well for you. As it often does you're homily this morning hit very close to home. Unfortunately on Monday evening we had our last We Believe Bible study and some of the topics were heavy which led to a heated argument between a few people. And for a good part of the week I thought that the friendship between those involved was not going to be healed. But through prayer I believe healing and forgiveness has begun. The timing of this homily was PERFECT!
